PRIMARY FUNCTION Leads and supports Corporate Security Services team mission by ensuring the safety and security of Target corporate locations. Implements; develops; supports and executes global security programs; initiatives; processes and best practices to build a safer workplace environment. Actively engages with regional team member population to maximize Safe and Secure work environments. Builds strong crossfunctional partnerships across Target by communicating team goals; wins and opportunities to maximize Safe and Secure work environments. Cultivates external partnerships with local and state law enforcement; federal agencies; third party assets protection providers and community organizations. Works closely with Human Resources; Corporate Real Estate; Community Engagement; Executive Services; Global Crisis Management; Global Supply Chain Security; and Assets Protection Operations teams to ensure successful integration of strategic priorities and initiatives. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and manages Corporate Strategies strategies to reduce corporate risk for multiple HQ locations. Lead the execution of riskbased mitigation strategies tailored to regional threat and corporate vulnerability profiles. 2. Develops and maintains local standards and procedures to ensure execution of Corprate Security mission and Corporate Security strategic priorities to support Targets HQ locations; to include: enforcement of business conduct and integrity standards; team member and traveler safety and security; investigations; information security; office security; crisis response; business continuity; and security and government partnerships. 3. Partners with Global Investigations teams to conduct investigations addressing allegations of business conduct; conflict of interest; and others as required. Conducts and/or coordinates due diligence and background investigations of prospective business partners as necessary to reduce risk to the Target brand and ensure compliance with legal standards. 4. Responsible for ensuring team member safety and security; physical security; and executive protection at HQ locations; as assigned. Manages threat and vulnerability assessments and oversees training. Manages thirdparty security guard and technology contracts; and undertakes other duties as necessary to assess and mitigate risks to Targets assets and brand. 5. Manages incident response; resolution and reporting programs; including oversight of crisis management and crisis leadership programs in assigned region. 6. Responsible for recruiting; developing teams and creating bench strength for all AP Security Operations team members as assigned.
